What you need to know before you get into the rehearsal space
We all take dance, voice, and acting classes separately, when in reality, we are expected to do it all at the SAME TIME. How do you pick up choreography, hold your harmonies and tell a story all at the same time? Well, that's what we are going to help you with!
The more ready you are once you get the job, the more valuable you will become as a performer. And this will lead to more jobs!
Please join vocal coach, author, professor and music supervisor, Lisa Campbell Albert, as she joins CDNY for this workshop! Her extensive knowledge and years in the business will help any performer, at any stage, feel more confident in the audition room and the rehearsal space.
Before the workshop, you will be sent music to familiarize yourself with. Then, just like a rehearsal, we will have music rehearsal in the morning with Lisa followed by choreography rehearsal with Laura Pierpont. Both instructors will help the entire time giving you tips and tricks to putting your best self forward in all aspects. This is a free to fail environment! That is truly the best way to learn and grow.
The workshop will be held on May 18th from 10:00-1:00.
